The browser lags when I try to scroll up or down. It's even worse if I double click to highlight; it just freezes for a few seconds. I think this started happening after the latest update.

Chosen solution

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox (you need to close and restart Firefox).

I think it was the LastPass addon. I reinstalled it and everything seems fine for now.
