(I may have lost an earlier attempt to post this, or maybe not. Sorry if duplicated. ) I have used the irs.gov Free File Fillable Forms for tax preparation for several years using various versions of Firefox. This year it fails. The form displayed are scrambled, with text on top of text, or moved around, sized incorrectly, etc. They specify that FF is an approved browser, version 26 (I have 28.0) I have no idea what's wrong. Here is a working URL: http://www.irs.gov/uac/Free-File:-Do-Your-Federal-Taxes-for-Free It is pretty simple to create an account and bring up F1040 to view.

I loaded the Fed-Tx-For-Free link, and everything looks fine. Are you sure that is the page with the problem? What it showed me was mostly information and links. No forms.

Sorry, I meant for you to create an account and bring up the 1040 form. Enclosed is a screen shot of what I see, where my private information is edited out in purple. I was finally able to use the form, but some parts are difficult. Problem may be with the form itself. I tried IE, and that didn't work either.

Hmmm.......Check your zoom settings. It may be there is too much print so everything gets crunched. <Control> and; (+) = bigger, (-) = smaller, (0) = restore to default.

Nope. Zoom has nothing to do with this problem. The page looks like pages where the CSS isn't compatible with the browser. I'm surprised many others don't have the same problem. I may send this problem to the federal website, but for now, I'm finished with e-filing my federal tax forms for this year.
