My gmail used to forward any e-mails that came into my inbox in my old hotmail acct. It stopped doing that about 10 days ago. Why? I would like to have it continue to forward those from hotmail to gmail.

Microsoft might have changed something in the transition from Hotmail, to Live Mail, to Outlook. Have you checked the settings there recently? (I don't forward my Hotmail account, so I don't have any personal knowledge about possible changes.)

With Hotmail.com, if you don't log in for a very long time, the account can be closed down. See if you can log in,

For my mail reading, I use the Windows Live Mail program. No trouble with Firefox.
