I have two computers on the same router. One, on Xp and Eudora receives normally. The second on WIN-7 and Thunderbird receives the same messages in code -????

I have two computers- One on WinXp and Eudora receives emails in regular text. The other on Win-7 and Thunderbird sometimes receives the same message in some code. That same message is received normally on the other computer. What have I set wrong GerryMcDonald
