Ask.com comes up on my home page when I sign in.

It is not listed at control panel.

All my tabs have been deleted.

How do I get rid of it and get back to Firefox?

this is one of the most common problem when you install or download any application from unknown place. it automatically install this Ask toolbar and search. To remove this you have to do it manually or it can be done by an application. check here for the whole solution.., How To Remove Ask Toolbar From Your Browser Completely
