I understand that on Firefox for Android that pictures are not showing up. It can be for a few reasons:

  1. The bandwidth of the network or data provider is not big enough to download high quality images
  2. The website may have a broken image if it is only happening in one site, or there may be an add on that blocks content that is installed on your device.
  3. You may need to clear the cache and cookies or clear other apps that are running in order to allow more memory space to load these images.

Out fo the three, some troubleshooting may be required, try other sites, clear the cookies, and see if there is a difference on wifi or data.
