Will a future update end the constant crashes of Firefox on my Samsung Galaxy Pro running Android 4.4.2? I have had to stop using Firefox.

I cannot relate the crashes to any given circumstances. Usually, but not always, multiple tabs are open at the time of the crash. I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. Samsung has not yet delivered the Lollipop update. In addition to the crashes, Firefox does not handle zooming well, seeming to struggle with re-drawing the page. This is especially noticeable on news.google.com. The only add-on is OpenH264 video codec provided by Cisco Systems, 1.3. I have just disabled this and will see if it makes any difference.

I'm not sure what is meant by crash ID's, but I do click to send a crash report. I sent many in the last couple of months, until last week, when I gave up and began using Dolphin, which I think is built on Firefox.

Dolphin is not built on Firefox.

Assuming you still have Firefox installed. Open it and type about:crashes in the address bar. Press enter to go to the page.

Long press on the crash report ids and copy the urls to this forum.

I hope this can be resolved. I prefer to use Firefox.
