MY OS crashed and I am unable to reboot the system. Where are the emails stored for Thunderbird so I may retrieve they to put on a new system?

The OS on my computer crashed and I cannot repair the problem to reboot the system. By using an external hard drive device, I am able to access the files on the problem hard drive. Where are the emails for Thunderbird stored on the hard drive so I can copy/transfer them to a new system?

On a Windows PC, that's somewhere like ...\Users\...\AppData\Roaming

It is hidden; you'll need to set your file manger to show hidden folders and files. While you're about it, set it to show extensions too. You may need to differentiate between, for example, Inbox and Inbox.msf.
