When Firefox finally opens, I get the following: Firefox Web Browser Page More Protection Page Firefox Start Page All 3 pages open simultaneously and I feel that this is one reason it takes Firefox so long to load.

You can check the home page setting

  • Tools > Options > General > Startup: Home page

Firefox supports multiple home pages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.

You can check that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Always use Private Browsing mode; never remember history).

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
  • Deselect: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"
