How do I export emails to office 365

more options

I am switching mail accounts from a webmail to office 365. I wanted to import all my emails and folders to TB and then upload them to Office 365 later. I do not see how to export the emails back into office. When I sync the new office mail with TB it deletes all my folders and emails.

Set up both accounts in Thunderbird, preferably using IMAP in both cases. Move messages from one account to the other. Drag and drop, or better IMHO, select messages, right click and choose "move to...". No "exporting" or "importing" required.

What's the perceived advantage of Office365 over your current arrangements? How do you anticipate using the Office365 account once you have switched over?

Ok that worked, thank you. Office 365 was offered at the hosting service I use. I am familiar with it thru another business venture and it seems to work ok. The 365 will be my primary email account.
