hello, i have a question regarding calendars: what kinds of calendars (calendar types) offer a "show busy/free" status for inviting attendees? as you can see at attached picture, i got 3 different callendars. "local" is simply a local lightning calendar (moz-storage-calendar://), "TT-IT" is a google based calendar and "TTIT kolab" is a kolab platform powered caldav application, which we are trying out.

as i am trying to create a new meeting and invite people, i can only see my own appoitements in gmail calendar. events located in local or "TT it kolab" arent showing up.

in other words, only google calendar is working properly, i cannot see my own meetings in local or any other external calendar.

is there any way how to fix this problem? thanks a lot

Thunderbird is maintaining three separate and distinct calendars. For all it knows one is yours, the other is the Managing directors and the third is a mistake you once made and never corrected.

So if you have appointments in Googles calendar they will show only in it. Thunderbird makes no attempt to integrate the calendars, only delineate the events you have added in the month view with a colour for each calendar.

While I do not speak slovak, I am fairly sure that the word zaneprazdneny that appears at the bottom of the window when you are adding these appointment means Busy. So it is your choice to go ahead and double book yourself.

hi matt, first of all, thank you for your answer. all 3 calendars are mine, im testing the functionality.

but im not sure if we are undertanding each other.

ill try to put it in other words and use another example:

in a brand new fresh install of thunderbird and lightning, you have your own "local" calendar. lets create any kind of meeting in there. its stored localy - i get it. but if u want to invite other people, i would expect thunderbird to "import" my existing calendar meetings into this new "invite" window for my own better time schedule opportunities. why can i see it in the invite window? (see attachet picture).

only way how can i get ito work is using imported gmail calendar. when im using gmail calendar, meetings from "main calendar lightning window" are show correctly in "invite other people" window. it show on my previous image as top right picture and thats what i need at the end of the day :). thanks
