hi there

i manage various email adresses on my thunderbird. because i quit working for some organisations i want to move my emails from the imap to my local folder. the problem with this is that thunderbird wants me to log in but if i click on cancell i see all my emails (seems they are offline available) and theire attachments are still here and i can open them. but when i want to move emails or folders of the no longer existing imap i cant because thunderbird asks for email login to sync with the server.

any tips ? moving email or copying emails is not working with this.

Use the add-on to export the mails to MBOX format. Then import them from that to the local folders. That should get what you want.
