I keep getting a stream of blocked outgoing messages from my Malwarebytes protection software. They all carry differing forms of ss.smcd.com the first two letters changing frequently. HOW DO I REMOVE THIS FROM HAPPENING. They all show c: program files/ (86) Mozilla Firefox\firefox exe.

my software is blocking but it is annoying as heck.

If strange things keep happening then i would do some scans to be sure nothing bad is on your computer. I had similar problems and also was recommended to do this. I only add an extra scanner to this as that scanner catches running processes. That first as else the bad tool might make it impossible for you to unistall the bad thing or it will block your scans. All these scans are free tools except SUPER, that only has a portable version for paid clients, and malewarebytes free does not stop trash ones it gets on your sys it only removes it if found. Paid version stops such files from even getting on your pc. But the free version does a good job at cleaning the bad ones. I recommend malewarebytes to anyone. Justt update definitions and do a quick scan at least ones a week.

1 iExplore, Checking for processes to terminate: rkill aka iExplorer to end running process

2 Kasperski TDSSKiller Another portable tool that scans WINDOWS

3 Adwcleaner_6.030 And a portable Malewarebytes Adware scan instead of Maleware

4 SUPERAntiSpyware Scanner [They lie on the website as this will install NOT Portable!] A Spyware cleaner NOT Portable Be carefull with this scanner as it will also find false positives. Thus this tool will probably see keygens as trojan. Know that if you let the program remove the problem then it will delete the keygen. And if it finds a bad inside an iso, then it will delete the whole iso !

5 Malwarebytes Anti-Malware The known MalewareCleaner [Install]

IF you found PUP or Trojans in the portable-short time scan tools above that do a quick scan 1-6 min. Then i would recommend you to do a full scan of your computer with the next ones to be sure. These 2 last scans can take up to 5 hours, so bummer but if the others found stuff then it is needed. Microsoft Safety Scanner can find even more trojan and pup stuff but is a very long scan so put that as last.

6 Your installed AntiVirus

7 Microsoft Safety Scanner [Great Portable Scanner but takes a long time on full scan and it catches keydump, gen, loggers, so careful with removal] Great Portable Cleaner to catch PUP, Trojan, long scan

If you didn't catch anything in the scans then you at least know it is not trojan or PUP trash related :)

IF your internet stops working after cleaning a trojan away, then use SUPER i think it was. In the options you can select winsock and do reset. Trojans often turn your internet off ones you get rid of them. Then you need to reset winsock to activate your connection again. If that does not work then you can also reset the ip. But then you need to look on the bottom of your modem to enter your modem login again. So only do that if winsock did not fix it ;)

WARNING: I have that setting as not selected, and don't know what happens ones you do select it. But that setting is related to tracking, so that might be what you need :) But as warned i never changed that setting so don't know what it does ;)

Ones all of the above is ok, then you can check Configuration screen/internet options/Tab Advanced 5th from the top you see a setting saying do not track-sending to sites you visit.
