Firefox does not prevent sleep when watching videos (YouTube, Netflix, full screen or windowed)
Hello peeps,
recently I noticed that Windows 10 goes into sleep mode when I watch videos through the browser. I double checked, and this only happens when using Firefox. It does not if I use Chrome, nor the Netflix app, nor VLC. If I put display sleep after 1 minute and computer sleep after 2 minutes, the display does not turn off but the computer does go to sleep.
If I run the powercfg /requests command in the command line, Firefox appears among the requests (under display).
Any suggestions? I am running the x64 version of Firefox and I reinstalled it from scratch, just to make sure.
Thanks!
Gabe

Hello prodeguerriero :)
I've two Things who could help!
1. I've heard from this problem many time and the turning point are by 95% by the not granted Permission to access this systhem-command! To fix that the help forum from Microsoft may help you. Headwords > example: app permissions, Browser, Firefox...
2. Change to Linux or run Win7! The best way to fix so many other problems I guess^^
Have a nice day or night :)

Thanks for the reply!
I will look into this. I don't feel like putting the blame on Windows though. Other applications seem to be working just fine, so I assume there is something not working properly with Firefox.
