Every time I open Firefox, I get the message 'Bad news first: This tab has crashed' on all my tabs. Clicking to restore does nothing. I've started in safe mode, reinstalled Firefox, etc and this still happens.

hello, could you provide your latest few submitted crash reports? please enter about:crashes into the location bar, copy the latest few report ids from there starting with bp- & paste them here into a forum reply. this will give us a better understanding what may be triggering those crashes.

The only one beginning bp- is from last July: bp-89b27d65-f961-4e3d-9a39-0d8632160701

The most recent one is a week old, pre-dating this problem: 624df6c7-d891-4942-8737-ce440e1d6d95

I attach the message I get on every tab I try to open.

Do you happen to be a EMET user by any chance?

No, sorry.

your old crash report from half a year ago shows that EMET (Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit) is running on your system though. if you don't have it installed intentionally, please uninstall the program through your system control panel...
