When I open New Tab, I want a certain website to appear and that I can lock it in. It never appears though. How do I customize websites I want to appear?

All I want is to easily click a website and go into it when I open a New Tab from the 8 or so I get to choose from.

Hi, if you mean the New Tab page, the easiest way is to bookmark the sites you want, then drag each bookmark to a tile on the New Tab page - Customize your Firefox New Tab page.

If you want a website, instead of the New Tab page when you click on the '+' for a new tab, you can try New Tab Override (browser.newtab.url replacement). Once installed, open the Add-ons Manager (Ctrl+Shift+A) > Extensions, then look for New Tab Override and click on Options to set your preference.

An alternative is Custom New Tab

Note, if you only want the New Tab to be the same as your home page, you can use the add-on New Tab Homepage instead.

You may need to restart Firefox for any changes to take effect.
