I cant open most web sites. It's hit or miss if a site will open and if a site opens, if i click on something within the site, it may not open. I get messages like 'accessing Url:http:// (whatever) failed', or 'cant connect to clients1.google.com because the site uses a security protocol which isn't eneabled'. Sometimes, everything just freezes in the middle of trying to open a page.

How accurate is this description your browser provided about your system and Firefox version?

PPC Mac OS X Mach-O => Mac with PowerPC processor from the OSX 10.4 era?

Firefox/2.0.0.20 => Firefox version 2.0.0.20 (released 10/10/2015)

If that is not at all what you're running, could you try the steps in this article: How to reset the default user agent on Firefox.

Then check how your Firefox identifies itself on my test page (red text): https://www.jeffersonscher.com/res/jstest.php
