Every time I try to open Firefox I get a window saying sorry, FF crashed and wanting me to submit a crash report. No matter which option I chose, send/don't send, restart/quit, the window closes, but the next time I try to open FF the crash reporter wdw is back. I guess this will go on forever. How can I get rid of it?

I have tried doing a thorough uninstall (using Revo) and reeinstall. I have tried deleting my profile. nothing works.

More simply, how can I disable crash reporter without being in FF?

Thank you philipp! I do use malwarebytes and will try the work-around at the url you cited. (When I marked prob. solved it wiped out my reply)

Actually I will first try uninstalling mbam 3 and installing mbam-setup-2.2.1.1043.exe, which is running on this computer without problems.

Thanks again.

Separate Issue: Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.
