suggestion/issue: downloader plugin not compatible w/ quantum, so won't upgrade to it
I use a FF downloader quite a bit and I won't change FF version unless it upgrade to be compatible to Quantum or there's a FF alternative to it, or there's some other software that make it very easy to download a page links or content; the downloader in question is DownThemAll ( http://downthemall.net/ ). Perhaps someone can point me at an easy-to-use alternate.
Do you try to work with plugin developpers so you won't get something out unless a portion of them migrate too? Perhaps the most popular or/and highest rated ones. If you leave behind a significant part of users because they won't accept loosing the plugin, perhaps it's not such a good move.

Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).
Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

Here are your choices; 1) Contact its support and ask if they will update 2) Find a replacement 3) Downgrade to a prior Firefox 4) Do without
This download manager works separately from the browser. The browser tells it what to download, and off it goes.

The DownThemAll is a Extension as the word Plugins refer to say Flash Player, Java, Silverlight etc.
The DTA author has been working on a DownThemAll Lite version and only more recently even though he knew the change to web extensions was coming for a long time. http://www.downthemall.net/delays/
