Email works from gmail website. I've deleted and re-input the outgoing server information. Receing mail just fine. Able to send in the Gmail app just fine. Not able to send from Thunderbird on either gmail account.

Current settings; Server: smtp.gmail.com Port: 465 Username: (my full email) Authentication: Normal Password Connection Security: SSL/TLS

I've also tried using a variety of difference authentication and connection settings without luck.

Thank you, Paul

Do you have some kind of program such as CCleaner that may be deleting cookies etc. from TB?

What happens if you change the authentication to OAuth2, for both the incoming and outgoing servers, and go through the steps to have Google set a token on your computer? Allow cookies for google.com and enable 'less-secure' apps.

Thank you! That ended up working, for about 1 day, but now I've got the same problem again? Any permanent fixes?

I did recently set up an VPN a couple weeks back? The OAUth2 started working again after a few toggles. Maybe it's a Tbird bug?

It's possibly a clash between the VPN and TB, e.g. I recall that some VPNs require the smtp server be entered as an IP address taken from a list of 'allowed' IPs.
