After automatic update to Thunderbird 60.2.1, the tab menu under "Preferences" has dissapeared. I cannot see the general tab menu, to get to the "Config Editor" button. to fix my calendar issue.

The tab menu is there, but the tabs are not clearly delineated. This has happened before with Linux. If you click the word 'General', does the General tab appear? In your picture, the Certificates tab is shown.
