Mouse Scroll not working. I wish to scroll up and down the page. However, the scroll causes the web page to change. the scroll has a virus and when I use the scroll, the web page goes back to the previous page. This is frustration. Has to be a virus or a glitch because no one in their right mind would change a mouse scroll to change pages, that makes no sense.

Let's start with:

You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

If there is still a problem, download the full installer from the mouse's website.
Remove the old program. Then rrun the installer.

This can possibly happen if you hold the Alt key and rotate the mouse wheel.

It is possible that some status keys have the wrong state and Firefox sees them as still pressed.

Try to press all the status keys (Shift, Ctrl, Alt) a few times to see if that helps to recover from this. If it doesn't help then close and restart Firefox or reboot the computer.
