I have about 20GB of business emails from last 10 years in my Thunderbird. I want to upgrade my operating system in mac from Hi sierra to Catalina. My question is will my old thunderbird data will sync automatically to the new operating system with the same existing profile? Is there any other issue I need to address in Thunderbird configuration before installing the Catalina?

I made the leap, so you should be fine. Be sure to first backup you profile

Thank you Wayne Mery. I would try this. I already have the back up in time machine for my entire Mac set up and hope this will be enough to sync the thunderbird data with my new OS?
