When I open Firefox and click on options then click on New Private Window my screen flashes bright white and goes back to my homepage but doesn't open up a New Private Window, I'm still in the regular browsing window. I checked all of my settings and nothing has changed, all the settings are as I set them long ago. Please help.

I solved a number of issues that suddenly came about with my previous account. I found a Trojan Horse which I have dealt with, closed that particular account and opened a new account on my computer and all is safe and sound. Thank you for your responses.
