Transfer bookmarks to new computer

My old computer completely died the other day. I cannot get past a blank screen on open, with no icons or anything. So I bought a new computer and my son installed FF and signed in. (FF is my browser of choice.) Problem is that none of my FF bookmarks show. I turned on sync in the new computer, and the bookmarks bar is showing, it's just blank.

How can I fix this?

My sympathies for you loss. You can always make new bookmarks. This link is for people who lost their precious bookmarks. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recover-lost-or-missing-bookmarks
