Site remembers my last search even though cache and cookies cleared for days and not logged in

A real estate website, (Zillow), remembers my last search even though cache and cookies have been cleared for days and I am not logged in. I find this alarming. How can I clear that data if not via cache and cookies? Thank you!

Second, unrelated issue, is that auto-login for mozilla account does not load until I manually enter the email - then the password auto-fills. Using firefox on a mac/high sierra.

On the first point, it's possible that this is coming from Firefox's "Form and Search History" feature. To disable that feature, try the steps in this article: Control whether Firefox automatically fills in forms.

On the second point, do you mean on https://accounts.firefox.com/ ? Here's what I think is happening:

Like many sites, the first form is purely for email address validation and there is no password field present on the page, so Firefox does not recognize this as a login form. But that's just a guess.
