I enabled Primary Password in Preferences - Privacy & Security but i can bypass it by click two times on cancel when asking me to enter my password and then i'm in thunderbird and i can see all the mails, that's not security at all.

Can you fix that problem?

Hello,

A primary password does not protect your saved emails, it only protects your access to the email accounts by encrypting the password. If this were to do what you would like it to, Thunderbird would need to encrypt all your emails before storing them.
