Today I was filling in a contract with a government organization. The type that allows me to answer questions and submit. I clicked on something else before finishing and I could not retrieve my work.

I have tried ALL of the suggestions available in HISTORY (restore previous session) open closed tabs etc Etc.

Nothing works

Those online forums if there is error or submitt errors they don't allow backtrack for security reasons. You will have resubmit the forms again.

Hi Bruce, if you are able to go Back to the page in the same tab, the form data will often still be right where you left it. To see what is in the tab history, right-click the Back button (the list is separate for each tab; I don't think there's any way to globally search for this information).

However, as Mark mentions, some sites do not allow going Back in their forms, or they instruct Firefox not to cache the page, which may cause Firefox to reload when going back.

There are a couple of add-ons you could consider that will save your form data as you work. These don't have the official "Recommended" stamp of approval, so please review carefully before installing.
