This happens every time Firefox updates, and it's really annoying. Especially since I pay for Gold membership with Real Player and want to download video.

I have also had this problem with this and previous updates of Firefox. Updating Real Player doesn't help, but neither does switching to Opera.

HURRY UP AND FIXineed MY MOZILLA AND REALPLAYER
I have the same problem.
Same thing. I updated Mozilla today and lost my Real Player download ability. This is not the first time this happened.
This is a REAL PAIN IN THE ASS! Some videos will only download with the Realplayer downloader.
I hope you can get a quick fix for this.
I have the same but the solution is not with Firefox. Realplayer is a plugin and therefore real need to update their software.
Mozilla need to make sure that their software is working as securely as possible and any additional plugins that we all use are of secondary concern.
The lat time this happened it was simpky a case of regularly checking my RealPlayer SP version and updating it as soon as a new one was out.
john1million, well said. I have the exact same problem and software versions. As before, I regularly check with Realplayer for a fix. I will also attempt the following "fix" from Anonymous and see if it works;
type about:config in the address bar Then in the filter box type dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npswf32.dll.
Then change the value to false.
After doing this restart firefox and now the realplayer flash downloader should start working again.
The following fix worked for me. The download button appeared as before when I hovered the cursor over the video and the download worked.
type about:config in the address bar Then in the filter box type dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npswf32.dll.
Then change the value to false.
After doing this restart firefox and now the realplayer flash downloader should start working again.
