I have just reformated my computer and had to reload Firefox - no problem with that. I am running Firefox 3.6.8 in Windows XP Pro. The problem is - every time I launch Firefox it opens to my home page AND it insists on opening the Firefox Start Up Page - every single time. How do I prevent this from happening?

A couple of possible causes, you have multiple home pages set, or the preferences file can not be updated. For details on both of those, see Firefox says it's just updated every time it starts - how to fix.
