All of a sudden, I cannot play videos on www.news.cincinnati.com. I've updated Flash Player. I have the following addons: Adblockplus BetterPrivacy V 1.49 (disabled) Clipmarks EmailThis IEView Java Console 6.0.24 Java Quick Starter Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant 1.2.1 Paste Email V 3.2.4 Pixlr Grabber 2.1.1 Print/Print Preview V 0.7 Reminder Fox 1.9.9.3 TACO with Abine V 3.61 Yet Another Smooth Scrolling 3.0.16

Any idea what is causing this?

I just noticed that I can play videos from sites like yahoo.com with no problems. Does anyone have any idea what I might tell the operator or news.cincinnati.com what I'm facing?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
