I just downloaded Firefox 4 on a new computer; how can I bookmark a page such that I can click the link directly from the Navigation toolbar Bookmark dropdown (without being in a folder)

I clicked the Bookmark star, and the page automatically went to "unsorted bookmarks". Previously, such items could be found directly from the Bookmarks dropdown. But now I am having to open the sidebar, and click other folders to get to the page. I want to have this page by itself and easily clickable directly from the dropdown Bookmarks menu like I used to.

Some menu entries are hidden by default and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu. "Bookmark All Tabs" and "Bookmark All Tabs" in the Bookmarks menu are among them.

You can see the difference if you use Alt+B or Alt+F to open some menus compared to what you see if you use the mouse.

  • "Bookmark This Page" and "Bookmark All Tabs" no longer show in the Bookmarks menu unless you open the Bookmarks menu via the keyboard (Alt + B).
  • "Bookmark This Page" can be accessed via the right-click context menu of that browser page.
  • "Bookmark All Tabs" can be accessed via the right-click context menu of a tab on the tab bar.
