I have Babylon Pro 9 installed in my computer. A couple of days ago I found that Babylon hijacked the default search engine for the Location Bar. All searches from the Location Bar bring up a Babylon search page, which really sucks. How can I restore it to Google?

You may well have add-ons related to Babylon search, if so uninstall them from the Add-on manager.

  • Firefox Button -> Add-ons |Extensions |

If you continue to have problems Babylon may have changed Firefox preferences if so see

Thank you for such a prompt reply.

I'm happy to report that the problem has been fixed. I went to about:config and I found a whole bunch of preference names infected by Babylon. I reset all of their values. Now Babylon can't bother me no more.

Thank you again.
