Our software doesn't support the newest version of Firefox, how can I get my old version back?
I need to install Firefox version 3.x I currently have 6.0 and it will not support the server program we use at this time

thank you
For those that really need an earlier version of Firefox -- latest of version 3
- Note Mac OS X 10.4 user, and Mac OS X 10.5 users without Intel cannot upgrade to Firefox 6 (nor 4 and up)
When reinstalling Firefox from a download, Firefox must be down once the installation starts. When the installation finishes, don't let the install start firefox for you. Instead end the install and start Firefox in your normal manner, thus preventing creating a new profile which does not have your bookmarks cookies, etc (but your old profile would still be around and would).
It is possible to run multiple versions of Firefox, I would use 6.0.2 and the "Launchy" extension to bring up the 3.6.21 version if I were in your situation, just like I do to run something in another browser. You need to have separate profiles and the non default browser and/or profile must be brought up with -no-remote on the start command

One problem I had a 3.6.20 version and when 6.0 came out I got updated, so I guess you had better make sure in Tools > Advanced > Update that your 3.6 version is free of any Firefox updates.
Thank you. The list of ALL releases (not "all supported") was exactly what I needed.
Now, if only Firefox didn't break the GWT Developer Plugin with every new release.
Thanks for all the help guys! We've got them both downloaded and working great!
