ashx extension in mac osx
When I try to open Word .doc or .docx files or pdf files, the download window shows an "ashx" extension. I can force the program to open the Word documents, but PDF files do not open. This is a problem that only started about a day ago.

Although you are using a Mac, if you are using Outlook Web Access with Word, it sends an illegal Content-Dispositon header to Firefox. This is no longer allowed in Firefox 8. Firefox 9 will have a workaround for this so that Microsoft has time to fix their software. See

Also test your Flash player on Adobe's website and confirm the version (please check using each browser, if you have, say, IE & Firefox installed)
