Firefox appears weird, similar to Safe Mode (IE appears fine); backgrounds of all websites are stark white and most text is blue, with many button missing.
Even the background on pop-up windows is missing, so that you can actually "see through" the pop-up to the web page behind it.
Chosen solution
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"

That worked! I had forgotten that I had made that change so that I could tell which websites I had visited. Is there another way to know in doing a search in Firefox to quickly see which websites I have already read . . . can't tell when all the names are the same color.
Yes, that worked; thank you so very much!
