Firefox displays the currently open tab at the top of the screen, even though the tabs bar is open.It wastes a lot of screen space!

It is above the menu bar, navigation bar, bookmarks bar and tab bar.

Thanks.

I unchecked the "always show the tab bar" box, but the currently open tab still appears above the other four bars that are there: menu, navigation, bookmark and tab bar. I have four tabs open.

Do you mean to see the page title in the Windows title bar?

You can hide the menu bar and display the orange Firefox button.
