more options

I have restored Firefox to the default open a BLANK page when you open a new tab. But I WANT it to open on www.google.com. I do not want this for my HOME page, just new tabs.

Chosen solution

Hi,

  1. In the Location bar, type about:config and press Enter. The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear.
  2. Click I'll be careful, I promise!, to continue to the about:config page.

After opening about:config please set the value of browser.newtab.url by double-clicking on it and typing in www.google.com. To quickly bring up the browser.newtab.url key, start typing newtab in the Search bar once about:config has been opened.
