Hello,

I love Mozilla Firefox, but the ONLY thing I miss from IE is that when I go to add a bookmark, if I already bookmarked it, IE tells me that I already have it and if I want to replace it. I did allot of searching in Mozilla.org, and none of the addons do the same thing. I don't want to go through all my bookmarks (1925 of them) to look for duplicates. I just want Firefox to let me know that the bookmark I'm adding is a duplicate and if I want to add it or not. Is Firefox capable of doing this? I would really appreciate an answer. I'm running Firefox 20.01 Beta 4 on WIndows Ultimate 7 SP1 32-bit. I would really appreciate it if someone can help me.
Thank You.
David

You can do a Copy & Paste in the Bookmarks Manager (Shift+Ctrl+B) to create a copy of a bookmark.

You can also drag the website's favicon on the left end of the location bar to a folder into the Bookmarks menu drop down list or to a folder in the Bookmarks sidebar (Ctrl+B) or onto the Bookmarks Toolbar.

In the sidebar you need to click to the left of the icon to prevent Firefox from opening the bookmark.
