Last night I noticed that Google search had changed my location and I was getting answers in Spanish. tried to resolve the issue. Changed to Bing and then back to Google which was stopped and closed by my security system. I tried deleting and reinstalling Google which did not work. This has also happened on my wife's computer. Not sure if this problem is yours or Googles.

Try the Search Reset add-on.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchreset

This add-on is very simple: on installation, it backs up and then resets your search preferences and home page to their default values, and then uninstalls itself. This affects the search bar, URL bar searches, and the home page.
