"Startnow" is residing in my search box at the upper right of the screen. I removed the Startnow toolbar using my Windows XP control panel. But I can't find any way in Windows or Firefox to get rid of the permanent Startnow link in the Firefox search box. Any help appreciated.

Check your add-ons manager. Then right click the search bar icon select manager search, and if it is still there, delete it.

Thanks for your suggestion. I went ahead and used the Reset method, and that fixed it.

Thanks again.
