I had two Games Folders (I didn't know you could create two Folders with same name). I moved the urls from one to the other. I deleted the empty one and the other Folder is gone too. Can I recover or find out where it went?

When I Search for Games, I find the urls I mentioned above but don't see where they are.

My goal is cleaning up my Bookmarks. Any tips you can steer me to would be appreciated. I've used IE for about 15 years but am finding I'm liking FireFox the more I use it. I started out using Netscape but needed to go IE route because its what my employers used.

Not sure it matters here but on Windows 8.

Thanks for your time today.

hello DrDOS, you can go to firefox > bookmarks > show all bookmarks > backup & restore and restore on of the available bookmark sets from their (firefox creates a daily snapshot of your bookmarks for the last 10 days).

if you have duplicates you could use an addon like https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/bookmark-deduplicator to deal with them...

Philipp,

Seems that add-on is not compatible even though it was last worked on a few months ago. None at the bottom of the screen are either. Grr. Thanks for the idea tho.

the-edmeister,

Seems that might work. I'll give it a go. Haven't done much so far so certainly not harmful.

Appreciate the speedy replies from you both! I guess I just have more reading to do.  :)
