I've installed the lastest Firefox - Firefox Setup Stub 27.0.1 on my PC running Windows 7. I've installed the add on for gmail notifications and using the customise option dragged the gmail icon into the status bar at the top right hand of the screen. But when I close and reopen Firefox the Gmail icon isnt there. No matter how many times I drag it to the same position it is alway gone when I reopen Firefox.

Also the 'Enable/Disable' button for all my add ons isnt working. If I click 'Disable' it doesnt disable and the button stays showing 'Disable'.

You can also check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file.

Do you have software like Advanced SystemCare that might reset some files to older versions to protect files against changes?
