Cannot send email, message outbound mail refused. Where can I check email recipient limit?
I use roadrunner email through Brighthouse. My settings are correct and have been verified. I can receive email, but cannot send. I do send email to about 600 recipients. It is my understanding that the limit is 1000. Is there a default set that I can modify? Or do I have another problem. Complete error message is:
outbound mail refused - 70.127.91.198n - See http://www.timewarnercable.com/en/residential-home/support/topics/internet/email-set-up.html R0209002

I read that excerpt from the time warner web site as 1000 email addresses per 24 hours, split up in a number of ways. Interestingly enough they do not mention BCC at all
Subscribers can send emails of up to 30MB in total message size, including attachments. Attachments can be up to 20MB. Subscribers are allowed to send emails to up to 1,000 recipients every 24 hours per IP address. Emails can have up to 99 recipients in each of the "To" and "CC" fields.
If you think they are refusing you without justification talk to them. there is nothing your mail program can do to make a difference.
Note that besides the limits imposed by your service provider, you can't send a message to 600 recipients at a time in TB if you aren't using a mailing list (the limit is 60). According to the previous post, it's best to create mailing lists with no more than 99 contacts:
