How do I remove RRSavings from my browser or computer

I have removed the program from my computer but there are now more ads than there were before. RRSavings keeps telling me to remove it from the programs but that has been done. A computer "Search" provides nothing. Malware scans provide nothing. Virus scans provide nothing. These ads are all over my Internet experience and now unrequested pages open their own tabs showing something for sale. Audio ads open up on other opened tabs and start pitching some stupid audio thing. It is driving me nuts.

I have exhausted my ability to find this program or to stop it.

hello leeblackm3, please try all these steps:

  1. reset firefox (this will keep your bookmarks and passwords)
  2. afterwards go to the firefox menu New Fx Menu > addons > extensions and in case there are still extensions listed there, disable them.
  3. finally run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner to make sure that adware isn't present in other places of your system as well.
