Hello, Since Firefox updated itself to 50.1.0 I have been having a ton of issues with video playback in YouTube specifically. Every single video I play stutters / freezes all the time.

- I have tested this on all sort of videos. High quality, low quality, long videos, short videos - It stutters everywhere if I use Firefox. - On other websites video playback work fine with no issues at all! - I have tried Internet Explorer and playback there is perfect!

- No it is not my internet connection. - I am using Windows 7 and my video drivers are up to date.

- I have tried installing Firefox 49.0.1 and Firefox 49.0.2. YouTube videos keep freezing. - Firefox with add-ons disabled - No difference - Refresh on Firefox - No difference - Hardware accelerate is off, making it on did not make any difference. - I understand that YouTube is using HTML5 instead of flash, but still I have disabled hardware accelerate on the flash player as well - No difference

Can someone please help on this one??

I am so frustrated with this, that I have been using Internet Explorer for 2 weeks now, as much as I dislike it.. YouTube runs perfectly there. I have always been a Firefox user, but if I don't find a solution I will go somewhere else.

So.. YouTube freezes on Firefox, YouTube works fine on Internet Explorer. Why is that, what makes the diffrence?

I have had this problem for a very long time now and I can not understand why the developers do not do anything to relese a bugfix for this. I run v52.0.2 under Ubuntu 12.04 and while my computer is getting older, it can still show Youtube videos in 480P. Firefox can not show videos in 360P whitout problems!! And this codec does not work and that flash do not work bla bla... It does not seem like I can update them from here so I want and update from the developers.
