Where is the screen capture feature on the Quantum version? I used it regularly on MacOS but with the upgrade it is not available.

Environment: Firefox version 63.0.3 (64-bit) on MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6.

Background: In prior versions of Firefox I was able to select the "..." to the right of the url search bar. Selecting "..." provided me options to copy the full page or portions of the page, in addition to Copy Link, Email Link, Send to Device, and Share.

With Quantum what steps are recommended for capturing web pages - both full or page areas?

Thanks Frank

Hi,

I followed the suggested steps and checked the preference settings for extensions.screenshots.disabled. The settings were as follows:

  • Status: default
  • Type: boolean
  • Value: false

I toggled the setting and reset to the above, and found that the feature "Take of Screenshot" was working.

Much appreciate the guidance!!!

Thanks Frank

Hi Frank, your Firefox 63 should still have the Firefox Screenshot feature on that ••• menu (the Page Actions menu).

Can you check a hidden setting to make sure it's not disabled:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful or accepting the risk.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste exten*scr and pause while the list is filtered

(3) If the extensions.screenshots.disabled preference is bolded and "modified" or "user set" to true, double-click it to restore the default value of false
