After the most recent Windows X desktop update (131?) Hulu/Disney logged me out of my account, and would not log me back in, despite changing my password. It also would not allow their chat bot to open a live chat window, I had to find a physical tech support phone number and get a live person on the phone, which wasn't easy, as they bury that number deep. After several frustrating tries with the desktop, they had me log in with Firefox on my Android phone, which worked, and on Chrome on my desktop, which also worked fine, so the problem is obviously with the Firefox Windows update, which I must say has been getting buggier and buggier with each progressive update and has been getting worse over the past 2-3 years or so. I will also say that MAX on Firefox crashes after every ad plays and between every episode, Amazon Prime has the same problem, and YouTube will refuse to play vids every 36 hours or so, claiming that Adbock violates TOS, despite Adblock being disabled, forcing me to log out of YT, and log back in, which fixes the issue for about 36 hours. Paramount+ also won't let me log in, in a similar issue to Hulu/Disney. So are there any fixes planned for these known issues? Or is Mozilla just planning on giving up and going out of business? They haven't seemed interested in fixing these issues for several updates now.

Noticed earlier today that after a Firefox update two icons appeared on the taskbar. Now I'm finding that whenever I try open Firefox from the taskbar it doesn't remember my previous session and looks as if I've signed out, Firefox behaves normally if I launch from the start menu.

I'm using Firefox Browser Windows MSIX package, mozzilla-MSIX - 1.0 v1.3.1.0 (64-bit). On Windows 11 Pro v23H2 build 22631.4169.

Hi, I had an issue with my Firefox app, so I deleted and redownloaded it thinking I would be able to log back in. When I logged back in, I discovered I lost all of my saved passwords, bookmarks, etc. It's like I had a new account created and I cannot find any of my previous information.

What happened and how can I get the last 5-10 years of my life back?

Firefox keeps rerouting any attempt to be brought to the google sign-in page, sending me to https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050?hl=en . Even on the page itself, where the sign-in button is evident, it reroutes to itself on click.

This is only occurring on Firefox, and very specifically in the normal browser. The private browser works perfectly fine, Edge works fine, etc. This issue persists in Troubleshoot mode.

Hi - after a Firefox update today, I no longer seem to be able to access a sign-in page for any of my Google accounts. When I try to log into Google, I'm just brought to a page that says "clear cache and cookies." I've cleared my cache multiple times, restarted Firefox, run troubleshoot mode, restarted my computer - none of this has helped. Every time I try to go to a page to sign into any Google app - Drive, Gmail, etc. - I get taken to the same "Google Help Center" page telling me to clear cache and cookies. When I click on the "sign in" button in the corner of this page, it just brings me back to the same help page.

My Google accounts aren't the problem because I can access them from Chrome or Safari. But I don't want to use Chrome or Safari!

I've never encountered anything like this before. Help?

I'm still using Windows 10, and want to continue using it as long as I can. I just read that Microsoft is going to force all users to use Edge when Windows 11 becomes mandatory next year. This means that all access to Firefox will be cut off. Is Firefox preparing for this? Will there be some way for us to NOT be forced to use Edge (which I do NOT like at all)-- i.e., will there be some way to work around it? Please figure out some way for us to not have to use Edge. This is a horrible, Big Brother-esque situation. Thank you.

I have tried to log into my google accounts on the browser, but everytime I press the sign in button on the google homepage, it takes me to google's "clear cache" website. However, signing in works normally on a private window. I have tried clearing my cache multiple times and it keeps taking me back to the cache page.
