Starred emails not showing in main Thunderbird inbox list
I had 10 minutes of panic today when a very important email seemed to have vanished from my inbox. I eventually looked for it via my email client on my phone and it was sitting happily in my inbox there. I am using Thunderbird as my main email client for a single gmail account, nothing fancy. It seems that any "starred" emails, are no longer showing in my inbox, but only in a subfolder of the [Gmail] subfolder in the left hand pane (see pic) My "missing email (along with another I'd starred) was in there.
Is that changed behaviour? I'm sure I must have 'starred' emails before and still been able to see them in the main inbox. In fact, there is still a 'Starred' column in the main inbox listing in the right-hand pane, so I would expect any starred emails to be shown and to be flagged in that column. Is there a setting in either Thunderbird or GMail that has changed somehow? How can I get things back to my normal view? Thanks in advance for any help.

Further info... I looked at the "Starred" column in the main email inbox listing and I can add stars at will without the emails disappearing. So I'm beginning to think there is a DIFFERENT 'starring' method for Gmail, and I may have starred these emails using my mobile phone (possibly!).
It still begs the question, why are these emails not showing in my main inbox for that account.
