Before I upgraded Firefox, I could choose where to place my book marks, now with the upgrade I can't do this, When I select the bookmark this page icon (star) it does not give me the choice, it simply shoves it into the core bookmark list, (so annoying and frustrating).

Once bookmarked, you can click the star again to choose it's location. Yes it's annoying, but I think Internet Explorer or Google Chrome has the same thing.

Thank you for the reply, but you are incorrect, Internet Explorer (IE) does have the choose facility when you select the favorites function. See the attached file.

When a commonly used feature is removed, then, the software is NOT considered an upgrade, it is in fact, retrograde, and a bad move, as it encourages users to seek alternatives, which, in this instance, is what I will do, revert to using IE.

You're kidding, right? You're going to use the worst browser in history simply because you can't organize bookmarks as easily? The extension that cor-el linked would be a good solution. Besides, Google Chrome and Firefox are both faster than IE.

Be that as it may, perhaps, more thought should be given to considering the effects of removing features.

I can see from the remarks, I am not the only person who does not like the removal of this feature, neither, is berating the users helpful, this displays a degree of arrogance and lack of understanding of the impact to users.

Please don't bother to reply, I don't need more of the same!
